 "We just got an adorable 8 week old chocolate lab named Bailey. We were hesitant about trying the snuggle puppy at first because we thought he'd just chew on it and yes at first he thought it was a toy but as soon as he got sleepy he curled right up with it and fell asleep! He loves to snuggle with it and it's really helping him with being in a new home and away from his mom. Every now and then we'll go to check on him because he gets really quiet and sure enough he's asleep in his crate with the snuggle puppy. Of course I couldn't resist taking pictures of him with his snuggle puppy so I wanted to share them!? - Chrissy"As I mentioned to you, my husband and I slept with the Snuggle Puppy for a week or so, so it ould smell like us. When we got home on Saturday, we put her in her new bed with her Snuggle Puppy and sh went right to sleep. Not only that... she slept ALL NIGHT!!! She didn't wake up until 8:00am!! At first Kaiser (my 9 week Doberman puppy) did not want anything to o with it, but I placed it next to him while he was sleeping by the couch. Within a couple of minutes he turned an curled up on it. Normally when I put Kaiser in his crate he cries for 20 - 30 minutes non stop. Last night when I put him in with his snugglepuppy... not one peep out of him. When I crated him this morning to leave for work, again, not one peep!!!" It was the very first 'toy' I bought, and Casper has treated it like his best friend ever since the first day he came to live with us when he was 8 weeks old.
Since then, his 'Puppy', as we call it, has outlasted all of his other toys, is his constant companion (even though the 'heartbeat' and 'heat packs' are no longer needed). The Snuggle Puppy might have lost an ear, but it has held together so well for over 16 months of daily play with a rowdy retriever who is always tossing, stalking, licking, flipping it around, and sleeping on it as a pillow.
I just wanted to thank you for such an intelligent and long lasting toy/friend for my 'Boy' -not only did Casper get comfort and help through the transition to coming to live with us, but what keeps on amazing me is that Casper continues to love his 'puppy' even now-it is the toy he 'cannot be without' and he never loses interest in playing with it all by himself.
